HIRING – HONK MAGAZINE WRITER JOB IN HOUSTON

HONK is looking for a Writer, offering the chance to become a much-valued member of a highly skilled, friendly and vibrant team.

 

We are searching for someone self-motivated and creative with an experience working on a writing entertainment news, entertainment magazine, music review, lifestyle, sport review, and a national newspaper. We are also interested in anyone who is passionate about contributing to the fashion, entertainment, beauty channels, lifestyle, news, music, business, and magazine world.

What work?

 

• Work with HONK Magazine to create content that is SEO-rich, shareable, and a different take on the norm.

.

• Generate story ideas for features and work with HONK Magazine to build out the monthly calendar.

.

• Execute 6-8 post/stories per day — including original video concepts — that ensure HONK continues to thrive

.

• Work closely with partnering brands to help strengthen relationships and create the most innovative brand work in the business.

.

• Represent HONK at industry events, and red carpet events.

.
What you need to have:

 

• Bachelor’s Degree

.

• One year of relevant experience

.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

.

• Knowledge of Photoshop.

.
