The Best Twitter Reactions to This Bizarre, Dragged-Out Election Day

As of 11 a.m. on Friday, November 6, a clear winner has yet to be announced in the 2020 presidential election (although things are looking good for Democratic candidate Joe Biden, thanks in part to a lead in Pennsylvania). How are Americans handling the pressure, you ask? “Not well, bitch,” to quote the great Dorinda Medley.

While we’re certainly living through one of the more chaotic moments in American political history, the overwhelming sense of confusion shared by many of those scrutinizing election results has lent itself to a maelstrom of tweets about Biden’s predicted victory in Pennsylvania:

Many also noted the impact of former Georgia state representative Stacey Abrams in helping to turn her home state blue:

Nevada, and its six electoral votes, remained a cipher:

Overall, a sense of chaos and anxiety reigned across the country, even as many Biden voters prepared for the seductive idea that their candidate could soon declare victory:
