On November 16 and 17, Vogue will host its first-ever virtual Forces of Fashion summit. This year’s event will include conversations surrounding the future of fashion, sustainability, equity and inclusion, and other important topics. Some of the panel participants include Lizzo, Naomi Campbell, Sienna Miller, Afua Hirsch, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Cynthia Erivo. Bella Hadid, Virgil Abloh, Victoria Beckham, and Jeremy Scott will be participating as well, among many others.
In addition to those conversations, stylist and Vogue contributing editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson will lead a discussion, titled “Whose Positivity,” with the models Paloma Elsesser, Precious Lee, Jill Kortleve, and Tess McMillan, that will center around their experiences in the industry and the very real work that still needs to be done around size inclusivity within the world of fashion.
Also on the agenda: the premiere of Gucci’s “Ouverture of Something that Never Ended,” a miniseries directed by Gus Van Sant and Alessandro Michele, followed by an exclusive interview with the directors.
The two-day virtual event will include opening remarks from Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour, live Q&As with Vogue editors, networking sessions, and drop-ins from surprise guests, as well as a morning wellness session and happy hour on the second day. In addition, VIP ticket holders will hear from The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Andrew Bolton and Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of Louis Vuitton women’s collections, about the Costume Institute’s recently opened exhibition, “About Time: Fashion and Duration,” and track fashion’s shifting relationships with the past, the present, and the future.
The summit will take place on November 16 and 17 from 9 AM EST to 3 PM EST. Tickets are still available for the summit and are priced at $125. All ticket holders can tune in to watch the live discussions, as well as participate in the Q&A and networking sessions. Also included with the purchase of an all-access ticket is the ability to stream all of the Forces of Fashion panel videos on demand, a service that will be available through December 8, 2020.
More details and tickets for the event are available on the Forces of Fashion website.
Forces of Fashion 2020 will be presented by Grand Wagoneer and supported by Monogram Luxury Appliances.
