Shaunte’ Monet Smith better known as “Shaunte’ Monet” born in the Bronx, NY on August 21, 1996 along side her identical twin sister (Shaunice Monek Smith) , is an American model/actress. Starting her modeling career only 2 short years ago in 2018 after being diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, she is determined to establish herself amongst the most admired and marketable models in the fashion industry. Since, things have been taken off for this 5’11 ambitious model, as she has been feature in the new launch of Queen Carte Comestics, walked in LA Fashion week, trained with America’s Next Top Model winner Rio Summers and worked with repeating brands like Lord and Tylor just to name a few. Her experience and training in the modeling and acting world began at John Casablanca’s Modeling and Acting Agency.
Now at the age of 26 she breaking into the Acting industry. Amongst many other things, Shaunte’ Monet now talks about her fight against H.E.R2 breast cancer through a documentary on her YouTube channel called ‘Fighting H.E.R2”. In hopes to raise awareness and to motivate other young women to be strong, keep fighting and stay to proactive in their health. Along with learning heathy living lifestyles.
In her earlier life she lived in Waterbury, CT and graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Springfield College. She obtained a lucrative position in the field and thought her life was set for her. But once faced with a life threaten health scare, she then realized that life is way to short not to be doing what you always dreamed of. A single mom, she quit her job and move back to New York to purse her dreams 100%.
